Having parents born in the beautiful Island of Zanzibar off the coastline of Tanzania in East Africa. The influence of the Portuguese and Oman and British on that island has reminded me of the different blend of cultures which can be incorporated into any garden.

Now I would like to bring these exotic looking landscapes back to my garden.

Though our British weather may not have sun or warmth all year round . During the cold rainy Autumn, winter you can certainly look at your garden and it will give you a smile as the palms won’t die, well that is if you buy the right palms.

Come summer time with the long days you can certainly enjoy those glimpses of sunshine , relax and chill in Palm Arabia or invite family/friends and have a barbecue during those balmy summer evenings .
